Het belooft een mooie zomer te worden voor Drupal... Niet alleen staat versie 7 voor de deur, er is ook een enthousiast team dat het CMS gebruikt om een eigen intranet/portal systeem te bouwen: OpenAtrium.

Regelmatig publiceert Smals een inventaris van interessante open standaarden en geteste open source applicaties. De 6e update is nu beschikbaar, met onder andere een bespreking van de krachtige wiskundetaal Octave en het statistische pakket R.

The ICTS-team at the K.U.Leuven has been implementing Plone as a basis for the centrally managed web environment for about two years now.

They would like to invite the Belgian Plone community and people interested in Plone for an informal get-together during an afternoon, in the office in Heverlee (Leuven) on April 28, 2010. The main focus of the meeting will be on Plone as a tool in a standardised Web service .

NVDA - of voluit Non-Visual Desktop Access - is een open source project voor blinde en slechtziende Windows-gebruikers. Onlangs werd de eerste stabiele versie vrijgegeven, die overigens volledig gedraaid kan worden vanop een USB-stick.
