Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) mod_jk/1.2.37 mod_ssl/2.2.22 OpenSSL/1.0.1c

apache-tomcat-7.0.40

 

Problem:

I had following problem when trying to serve tomcat servlets via apache2 mod_jk

I wanted some servlets to have  'SSLVerifyClient require' and others to have 'SSLVerifyClient none'

Following did NOT work:

Extremadura gaat voor Linux

De Spaanse regio Extremadura gaat dit jaar 40.000 PC's migreren naar een open source desktop omgeving, wat het meteen het tweede grootste project in z'n soort maakt in Europa, na het project van de Franse Gendarmerie om 90.000 PC's te migreren. De Linux omgeving zal onder andere een open source office suite en email software bevatten.

This is an event geared towards Linux and Unix sysadmins and people interested in Free Open Source Linux and Unix system administration, configuration and deployment.

UK geeft voorrang aan open source

In de nieuwe Government Service Design Manual geeft de Engelse overheid voorrang aan open source software, in het bijzonder voor besturingssystemen, netwerksoftware, webservers, databases en programmeertalen. Het gebruik van proprietary software wordt echter niet verboden, al wordt dan wel de nadruk gelegd op het gebruik van open standaarden.
